It is my honor and my pleasure to introduce you, my fans to a unigue, strong willed, and may I say handsome young man, Benjamin Lee Steele III. Ben, 18, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, was paralyzed last July after his head hit the bottom of a swimming pool, fracturing three vertabrae. He was put on a ventilator, and doctors told him that he'd never again breathe without it or move. With the help of therapists and his family, Ben worked vigorously for months to regain his strength, determined to prove the doctors wrong. With lots of work and determination, I am proud to tell you, that with the help of his family, Benjamin Steele III, stood to receive his diploma during his high school graduation from Dixie Heights High School, on Thursday, June 1, 2006 !
Your Donations, will help Ben, continue with specialized physical therapy. Stop by www.sci-step.com/sci-stepparticipants.htm and check out articles on Ben S

Date of Injury: 7/10/05 Injury Level: C3-5 -Step Start Date: 4/4/06 "I was injured in a diving accident July 10, 2005. I was told that I had an incomplete injury to C 3,4 and 5. I was also told that would never breathe without a ventilator or move anything from the neck-down, which I am now doing both! Prior to my accident, I enjoyed drag racing, trail riding, snow skiing and many other things. I came to Sci-Step to get myself back to doing the things that I love. The staff at Sci-Step are full of encouragement and positive atitudes." Favorite Quote: "Looking back, knowing that you gave it your all....win or lose, you finish a champion. " |
